The biggest reality show in Kannada television industry, Bigg Boss Kannada has moved to Suvarna Entertainment channel from ETV Kannada. Bigg Boss in its debut season last year was pitted by ETV Kannada against Suvarna channel's Kannadada Kotyadipathi hosted by Puneeth. Sudeep hosted Bigg Boss and took a lead over KK. This year, there was no news about both the shows till now.

It is not clear if Suvarna will be telecasting both the shows or will be dumping KK since it has purchased BB. And since it is sure to telecast the second season of Bigg Boss the next big question is whether Sudeep will host it. Sudeep was one of the important reasons for the show to become a huge hit. His presence on the weekends would increase the TRP of the episodes. Will Suvarna convince the reluctant Sudeep to host it or find another star is to be seen.

After the first season Sudeep had said he would not be able to host it again. Now he is very busy with films and has four films lined up in Kannada and two in Tamil. If he allots three months to Bigg Boss, it will disrupt his films. So it would be interesting to see who will host the show and whether it would be as successful.
