Chairman of Bangalore regional censor board officer A. Chandrashekhar will be relieved on June 10th. A new incumbent is going to take charge.
Talking to chitraloka Chandrashekar said `As of today I have that new. I have served here for five years. On 10th June my term will be over. I may continue for another few days till the next person is appointed’.
Chandrasekhar strived to bring in some discipline into the functioning of the censor board by strictly implementing the guidelines of the censor board. Though his style of functioning did not appeal to section of the film industry people, Chandrasekhar struck to his gun.
Sources to chitraloka said farewell dinner has been arranged to Chandrashekar who is leaving to Delhi.
