Director Pavan Wadeyar has started writing the sequel to Googly. He started the work on Monday and calls it Googly 2. "I just got one line of the story and have started developing it. I do not know if the same characters will continue. But what I can assure is that Googly 2 will be more fun."
Wadeyar says he has not approached any producer nor has Jayanna, the producer of Googly asked him to write. "Before I approach any producer, I should have the script ready. I can convince producers on the strength of the script and not on promises," he says. Googly, which completed 50 days last week is the biggest hit in Yash's career. Googly 2 will take about a month to write says Pavan.
Meanwhile, work on Preeti Prema Ityadi, which stars Pavan and will be directed by Virus Veerendra has started.
