If sources in the Karnataka Government is to be believed Ravichandran has been approached to be the next chairman of the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy. Incumbent president Tara has resigned from the post and a new one has to be appointed by the present government.
Sources say that the proposal has been sent to Ravichandran a week ago but he is yet to take a decision. However, there is no official statement either from the government or the actor-director. KCA has had two president since its inception; TS Nagabharana and Tara.
