If everything had gone right, then Shivarajakumar-Sudeep starrer 'The Villain' was supposed to release on the auspicious day of Varahamahalakshmi festival. Now the release is doubtful and the film is likely to be postponed for September.

The shooting for the film recently with a song featuring Sudeep and Amy Jackson. 'The Villain' is being directed by Prem and the film stars Shivarajakumar, Sudeep, Amy Jackson, Srikanth, Mithun Chakraborty and others. 

The film is being produced by C R Manohar and Arjun Janya is the music composer. The shooting for the film has already been held in Bangalore, Shimoga, Bangkok, London and other places.
