Producer Umesh Banakar is becoming a busy actor these days. Having turned lead actor in Majestic Express, the producer is now doing a guest role in Mumtaz that stars Dharma Keerthiraj and Sharmila Mandre.

Darshan did a guest role in the film last week. This week it is the turn of Banakar. He acted in the film on Wednesday. Banakar is not new to acting. He started his nearly three decade film career as an actor before turning producer.

Raghava Murali is directing the film apart from scripting it. The film is being produced by Narasimha Murthy and Divya Narasimha Murthy
