Chennai based actress Regina is still studying her second year graduation is Psychology says that she is a summer season actress as Namma own Amoolya who is acting only during Summer. Regina who is into modeling also has already acted in two Tamil films is presently acting in Kannada film Suryakanthi directed by Chaithanya in which she is paired with Chethan.
“I am still studying my graduation and my parents are very strict that I should complete my studies. I am also focused on my studies. I did my two previous Tamil films Kanda Naal Mudhal and Azhagiya Asura during the Summer Holidays. Though I was offered roles for films to work in Summer Holidays in the last two years, I was not able to accept these offers because I was to concentrate on the Plus two course’ says Regina.
In her first film Kanda Naal Modhal produced by actor Prakash Raj and directed by Priya who was an associate to Manirathnam, Regina played a small role. But she was chosen as a heroine in her next film Azagiya Asura in which she had teamed up with Yogi, grand son of Comedy actor Thengai Sreenivasan. Regina impressed critics with her right expressions and cute looks in the film.
Sharing some of her secrets with the media, Regina says that she is a good bathroom dancer and also a singer. “ I always sing when I take a bath. I think singing and dancing inside bathroom makes things cooler for them when I am under the shower’ says Regina.
Talking about her character in her Kannada film Regina says that she is playing her real self in Surya Kanthi.
‘I liked the character, there is a lot of me in the film. She loves kids, animals, she loves people and help the poor. She is a good human being. That is what I want to become ultimately. I had a great time working in this film which took me to different parts of the world. I shared some good moments with Chethan who is very intelligent and well informed. Chaithanya sir was very good in handling the film. You should see the film to know how we have worked hard for this film’ says Regina.
