why hero wears full dress and very less costume to heroine? It is just a novelty I tried. It clicked to sing in child voice. Janakiji answered the first question posed to her in the voice of a child. The baby voice of Janaki gave her thunderous applause.

I always want to sing in my natural voice.

A female singing in male voice is difficult. I tried with Maami Peri Maari….., it clicked.

For this April 23, I turn 67 years. I have spent life with one light and room. That is the recording theatre. From 1957 I am singing. I feel that I am not that aged even today.

Why there is direct attack in lyrics of today. Many of the occasions I have rejected singing because of bad lyrics. I used to tell some producers before the censor objects why we should not correct ourselves. Self restriction is very important.

Heroines of today are doing the club dance roles and costume is very less. Why don’t they wear dresses?
