When he was a child star Power Star Puneet Raj Kumar created a magic of sorts by dancing and singing the song "Kanadhanthe Maayavaadhano, Nanna Shiva Kailaasa Serikondano' in the block buster film Chelisuva Modagalu starring his father and Kannada Movie icon Dr. Raj Kumar, Saritha and Ambika in the lead roles.  This popular  song of the film directed by Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao  was written by  Chi. Udayashankar, but the song was rendered so well that the song became an instant hit when there was no digital recording, packaging of albums and huge publicity build up for the song.  The music director was Rajan and Nagendra who had created musical magic in many films featuring Super Stars like Dr. Raj Kumar and Dada Vishnuvardhan.

Though  there was another popular song in the film starting with lines "Jenina Holeyo, Haalina Maleyo' sung by Dr. Raj Kumar about the Kannada language, it was Kaanadhanthe Maayavaadhano song which became a mass hit.  The song had lot of repeat value and many fans stormed the theatres in 1982 to see this song. again and again. Now, the news is that this song from Chalisuva Modagalu  will be sung by Power Star Puneet Raj Kumar again for Chelisuva Modagalu.   This information has been released through the Anna Bond official facebook page.
