Rebel Star Ambareesh will be air-lifted to Singapore on a special air-ambulance at 4.30 am on Saturday. The actor has been hospitalised for the last on week in Bangalore's Vikram Hospital due to a lung infection. He was kept in an ICU all along. To improve his health condition, it has been decided to take him to Singapore. Ambareesh's wife Sumalatha, son Abhishek and two doctors from Bangalore will accompany him to Singapore.

It may be recalled that Rajinikanth also got treated in Singapore last year for his illness.

Dr Satish and Dr Raghunandan are the two doctors going with Ambareesh. Two more paramedics are also said to be on call during the flight.
