The Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy has decided to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Kannada film industry by organising a photography and stamp exhibition from 1st to 3rd of March at the Metro Kala Kendra in Bangalore.

The photography exhibition depicts the travel of the Kannada film industry in the last 80 years while the stamp exhibition depicts the Indian cinema in stamps. The exhibition will be inaugurated by Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce presidnet H D Gangaraju, actors Shivaram and Radhika Pandith on the 01st of March at 11 AM at the Metro Kala Kendra in M G Road.

Meanwhile, postal department has brought out a postal cover to mark the 80th anniversary of the Kannada film industry and the postal cover will be released by Haj and Information Minister Roshan Baig at a special program organised on the 03rd of March at 10.30 AM. KFCC president H D Gangaraju and actor Srinagara Kitty will also be present at the occasion.
