Popular Telugu star Victory Venkatesh will be seen in the Telugu remake of the Kannada film Pungi Daasa. The Kannada film starring Komal is ready for release. The film's Tamil remake rights was sold earlier.

Even before its release remake rights to Tamil and Telugu have been sold which has surprised people in Sandalwood. The film is directed by Sreenath who had directed Sharan's Rambo earlier. He is now even called Rambo Sreenath. He had also written the story for Victory directed by Nanda Kishore. After, Govindaya Namaha, this is the second film of Komal to be remade in Telugu.
