Kannada film industry's biggest extravaganza Kranti Veera Sangolli Raayanna has completed its shoot. The last two days shoot was concluded on Thursday at the Bengaluru Palace in which Darshan, Jayaprada, Shashi Kumar and other artists had participated.
Later on a press meet was organised by the team of KVSR in which Darshan and Jayaprada had also participated. Darshan was limping with the injuries sustained during the shooting of Viraat troubling him.
Jayaprada had finished her last leg of shooting portions and was happy to have participated in the press meet.
KVSR became possible mainly because of one person's passion and commitment to make a big film on the famous freedom fighter Sangolli Raayanna. He is none other than the film's producer Ananda Appugol.
The film has come out very well and will be a hugely inspiring and qualitatively stronger film mainly because of the dedication of the film's director Naganna. These two people have made the film to acquire such a big canvas. I have never seen any person who has professed so much of loyalty and devotion on Raayanna like Anand Appugol. He never questioned the film's needs and was there to provide everything to make it acquire an extravagant look. I am very happy that I have learnt so many things through this film. Many artists have helped me in essaying this role including Veterans like Sreenivasa Murthy and Ramesh Bhat sir' said Darshan.
Veteran actress Jayaprada said that when she first visited the Parliament after winning the Rajyasabha seat, she was astonished and dumbstruck after looking at Rani Chennamma Idol installed in the Parliament House. "I had not imagined that she will be playing such a courageous woman's role on the screen. But thankfully when I was shooting for Ee Bhandana, I did get an offer from director Naganna and I was happy. Working in this film was a big experience' said Jayaprada.
Director Naganna, Anand Appugol, Ramesh Bhat, Shashi Kumar, Avinash, Shiva Kumar, Music Director Yasho Nandan, cinemetographer Ramesh Babu, film's writer Keshava Adithya were also present.
Many artists recounted their experiences working for the film and said that Anand Appugol and Naganna have done their best in making a top class film.
