The crowd at the Nehru Stadium in Chennai was very happy to witness the cultural programmes from the Kannada film industry, but was very much sad that the well known stars from Sandalwood was not seen at the venue. According to the organizers Kannada top stars will be attending the final event on 24th.

Apart from Ramesh Aravind and Vijay Raghavendra most of the stars of the Kannada film industry didn't come on stage for song and dance performances. Many of the stars didn't come to the venue itself. Apart from Jaggesh who had earlier announced that he won't be coming to Chennai with valid reasons, most of the other artistes had expressed that they would be present for the programmes. Even actor Shivarajkumar had taken an intitative and personally called many stars for the programme for which most confirmed their presence.

But the saddest part was most of the dances had newcomers or who are on their verge of retirement. Though the stars restrained from being a part of the programme, actresses like Amulya, Soundarya, Sanjana. Roopika and others managed to engage the audience with their performances.
