Duniya Vijay who is on a high because of the huge response  to his film Bheema Theeradhalli produced by Anaji Nagaraj and directed by Om Prakash Rao has visited many places of the Bheema Basin to thank the people there who had shown wonderful co-operation during the making of the film.   Vijay left to the Bheema Basin after attending a success press meet in Bengaluru  which was organised to celebrate the success of the film.

In that way Vijay has accepted the challenge of Journalist and writer Ravi Belagere who had claimed that the Bheema Theeradhalli will get a hostile reception if at all they go around the areas of Bhema Basin.  Ravi Belagere had also claimed the film has not projected the people involved in the rivalry and fights in the basin. But the reception that the unit got from Indi, Sindgi, Umraatti  and Bheema Theera were fantastic,

Enthused by the response from the crowd, Vijay says that the film has projected the people of  Bheema Basin in proper and positive light where as Belagere's novel had called the people there as murderers and killers.

"The film is running very well in many parts of North Karnataka where it is expected to do very well in the coming days too.  The positive response to the film is growing  each passing day.  Even other areas have also caught up with this positive wave and collections have been increasing'  said Duniya Vijay who had participated in the press meet earlier along with the film's heroine Praneetha,  the film's producer Anaji Nagaraj and the film's distributor Prasad.

"First week we have collected a g gross collection of  over Rs. 3 crores out of which Rs. 2 crores is the distributor's share' said a happy Prasad.   He said that he is confident that the positive response to the film will continue.
