The release of Poornima Enterprises presentation Anna Bond starring Power Star Puneet Raj Kumar in the lead which is now the most awaited Kannada film of the year is to be postponed by a week and the film will be hitting screens on 3rd May 2012.  A communication to this effect has reached all the exhibitors screening the film.  Chitraloka has also confirmed the news from Vajreshwari Combines.  

This new development may make it imperative for Anna Bond to compete with Upendra starrer Kataari Veera Sura Sundaraagni produced by Munirathna as he is also insistent on releasing the film on 4th May.  "I respected the words of seniors and was prepared to go on for talks to trash out a solution to the release controversy with God Father. But nothing seems to have worked out.  I am going ahead with my work of getting censoring the film within a few days and releasing the film on 4th' says Munirathna.

Meanwhile, NTR's Telugu film Dammu will be released on 27th April without any big opposition from Kannada films.
