The Dadasaheb Phalke award winner the pride of Karnataka Dr.Rajkumar entered to the 77th year on April 24th. He celebrated his birthday quietly in the midst of his family members at his Sadashivanagar residence in Bangalore. He cut a huge cake on the occasion.

Addressing his fans he said that the intention of acting is still afresh in his mind. I am recovering fast from my ill health. As soon as I recover completely I would take up ‘Bhaktha Ambarisha’. ‘When all our dreams are met we might say that what is necessity of God’, Dr.Raj addressed in his inimitable style.

Police had a tough time near the Sadashivanagar residence of Dr.Rajkumar. Right from the morning the fans of Dr.Rajkumar started arriving to get the glimpse of their screen God.

Meanwhile the Karnataka chief Minister N.Dharam Singh wished the icon of Kannada cinema Dr.Rajkumar over telephone on his 77th birthday. The CM was busy in the 98th birthday of senior pontiff of Siddaganga Math – Sri Shivakumaraswamy.
