Veerabhadreshwara theatre is one theatre which has been catering to the Kannada viewers of people ina nd around Basaveshwaranagar for the post two decades. Now the old theatre has been redesigned and developed to suit the needs of the people and the first film that was released in the renovated theatre was Sudeep starrer 'Bachchan'.

Sudeep himself came over as the chief guest and inaugurated the renovated theatre. Distributor M N Kumar, producer Soorappa Babu amongst others were present at the inaugural function
