Well known Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan have tested positive for Covid-19.

Amitabh himself confirmed the news through a tweet on Saturday night. 'I have tested Covid positive, shifted to hospital, hospital informing authorities, family and staff undergone tests, results awaited' he tweeted. He also urged everybody who was close to him in the last 10 days to get tested.

Abhishek has also tweeted he had also tested positive and has been hospitalised. Both Amitabh and Abhishek have been admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai and are undergoing treatment.

Soon after Amitabh broke the news that he has tested positive, many from the film fraternity across India has wished the legendary actor a speedy recovery.
