Following more positive cases of Coronavirus being detected in the country, the State and Central Governments have been taking several preventive measures including lockdown of public places and events on a temporary basis as a fight against the deadly COVID-19 viruses.

On Friday, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address to the nation, has requested all fellow citizens to observe 'Janata Curfew' on Sunday between 7 am and 9 pm' by remaining inside the house and not to go out in the public unless extreme emergencies to stop the spread of Coronavirus disease.

The Prime Minister's call to observe 'Janata Curfew' which is a social distancing act to stop the spread of Coronavirus, has been well received by the majority across various strata of society.

Even, Kannada film industry has welcomed the call while most of the artists and technicians supporting Janata Curfew. Actors such as Jaggesh, Kichcha Sudeepa have shared it across various social media the importance of the call given. Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar has shared thanking the brave doctors for their services in these difficult times. 

Duniya Vijay, Dhananjay, Pranita, Shanvi Srivastava, Nenapirali Prem, Rishab Shetty, Tara, Bharathi Vishnavardhan and others have appealed to all to observe Janata Curfew on Sunday.
