After seven years in the film industry and having acted in 13 Telugu, 4 Tamil and three in Malayalam films, the Bengaluru girl Dhanya Balakrishnan finally set to make her debut in Kannada with Anoop Ramaswamy Kashyap directed Sarvajanikarige Suvarnavakasha. The film is releasing tomorrow in theatres.
The actress feels that it is not just her golden opportunity to act in Kannada film but also fulfils her father's dream to see her act in a Kannada film.
On seven years to take up a Kannada film, Dhanya says that she wanted to do a project which had a prominent role for her to portray and Sarvajanikarige Suvarnavakasha provided her the perfect opportunity wherein her character has an equal importance to that of the male protagonist.
Further, the actress reveals that she grabbed the golden opportunity once she realised that it was being made by the makers of Gultoo film.
