In a huge relief to the makers of KGF Chapter 2 film, the Karnataka High Court on Thursday has allowed the shooting of the film at Cyanide Hills in Kolar Gold Field.

The producer of KGF Chapter 2, Vijay Kiragandur had approached the court against the order of a court in Kolar, which had halted the shooting of the film. The Kolar Court had passed the orders on the suit filed by one N. Srinivas, a resident of KGF, alleging that the shooting of the movie at cyanide hills in Kolar Gold Fields in Kolar District caused environmental damage.

The producers of the movie have given an undertaking before the High Court that the shooting of the film will be wrapped up in 25 days and the team will not damage the environment and as well as will plant 500 saplings after the shooting is completed.

Several movies have been shot at the Cyanide Hills in Kolar Gold Field in the past too. Presently, a defunct area, Cyanide Hills is where the debris of the gold mining were dumped.
