Ganesh starrer '99' which was released on the 01st of May across Karnataka, did not live up to peoples expectations. Just a month after the release, '99' is live streaming at Amazon Prime.

Earlier, 'Kavalu Daari', 'Bazaar', 'Chambal' and other Kannada films were released on Amazon Prime after a few days of release. '99' has joined the bandwagon of films which were released on Prime just a few days after theatrical release. 

'99' is a remake of Tamil hit '96' is directed by Preetham Gubbi and produced by senior producer Ramu. Ganesh, Bhavana Menon, Ravishankar Gowda and others play prominent roles in the film. Arjun Janya is the music composer and this is his 100th film as a music director. Santhosh Rai Pathaje is the cameraman.
