The teaser and the title song of Manoj starrer 'Takkar' was released a few days back. Recently, actor Darshan had invited the team of 'Takkar' to his residence and watched the teaser and title song. Darshan said he was very much impressed by what he saw and praised the team for the making of the film. Darshan also gave few tips regarding the release and marketing of the film.

'Takkar' stars Darshan's cousin Manoj, who had acted in small roles in films like 'Chakravarthi'. Now he has turned hero with 'Takkar' and the shooting for the film is completed and the post-production is in progress.

'Takkar' is written and directed by Raghu Shastri who earlier directed Vinay Rajakumar's 'Run Antony'. The film is being produced by Nagesh Kogilu, who earlier produced 'Huliraya'. 'Takkar' stars Manoj along with Ranjini Raghavan and others. Kiran Hampapura is the cameraman, while Manikanth Kadri is the music director.
