Challenging Star Darshan starrer Porki which is a remake of Telugu film Pokiri is now ready for release. The first print of the film is now ready and the film will be shown to the Censor Board shortly. The film's producer Dattathreya Bachchchegowda said that he was very happy to declare to the media that the film is to be released on January 14 as scheduled , and there can be a dealy of one week if only there is a delay in getting necessary clearance from the Censors. He thanked all his artists and technicians who have put in lot of hard work to make a good film. "I am sure that our film Porki will become a very big hit like its original Telugu film and its two remake versions' said Datta.
The film's director M.D. Sreedhar said that the film's first print was ready and it is now ready to be shown to Censors. He said almost all the technicians who were involved in the post production stage were appreciating about the quality of the film, he added.
Darshan who came to the press meet after attending the shooting of his film Sarathy said that the film was made with huge production values and even the climax sequence was shot for nearly sixteen days.
"The producers have spent a lot and have not compromised in the making of the film. LIke every one in the team, I am also hoping for the best for Porki. I have not seen the firs print yet, but I have got some positive reactions from the technicians who have worked for the film' said Darshan.
The film's heroine Praneetha spoke about her experiences of acting in her first film and said she was happy to learn many things while acting in this film. "I have been taught lot of nuances about acting' said Praneetha.
