Well known comedian Johnny Lever who has acted in comic roles in numerous Hindi films acting in Kannada film 'Gara' is not a new news. The actor had finished his portions long back and recently Johnny has dubbed his voice for his role in the film. 

'Gara' was launched last year and the film marks the debut of well known news anchor Rehman as a hero. The film is being written and directed and produced by Muralikrishna. Apart from Rehman and Johnny Lever, Avanthika,  Sadhu Kokila and others play prominent roles in the film.  

Manjula Gururaj's son Sagar is the music director, while H C Veni is the cameraman.
