Dr Vishnuvardhan starrer 'Nagarahaavu' is all set to hit the screens once again. This time the film is being technically upgraded CinemaScope and 7.1 DTS sound. The work for the new version is completed and the film will be releasing on the 20th of July. .
'Nagarahaavu' which was released in 1972 was produced by Veeraswamy under Eshwari Enterprises banner and was directed by Puttanna Kanagal. The film starred Vishnuvardhan, Arathi, Ambarish and others in prominent roles. Now actor Balaji, son of Veeraswamy and brother of V Ravichandran has technically upgraded the film with Cinema Scope and 7.1 DTS sound and will be re releasing the film across Karnataka.
On Tuesday afternoon, the songs and the making video of the upgraded version was exhibited at the Kalavidara Sangha building in Bangalore and many artistes including Ambarish, Uncle Lokanath, Leelavathi, Jayanthi, Shivaramanna and others were present at the occasion. All the dignitaries lauded the upgraded version and wished the film completes 100 days once again.
