The Karnataka film industry's strike against the digital service providers will be continuing further and there will be no releases this week also.
The war between the KFCC and the UFO and CUBE regarding the price reduction issue has been going on for some weeks and the meeting regarding this has failed. So, the KFCC had decided not to release any Kannada film from the 09th of March and there were no releases last Friday. There was a meeting between the KFCC and Tamil Nadu Film Producers Association on Saturday and it was decided not to release any Kannada films on 16th March also.
Not only Kannada films, the KFCC has requested other languages producers not to release the film and show support for the cause. Meanwhile, the Tamil Nadu Producers Association has decided to stop the film activities from the 15th of March. There won't be any shootings or event concerned to cinema from this week until the issue is resolved.
