Multilingual actor Charan Raj who hails from Belgaum has made it big in films of all four South Indian languages and also  in Hindi films. He was first introduced by director Siddalingaiah.  After working in a few Kannada films he went on to work in Telugu films after  director Krishna introduced him in the film  Prathighatana which made him a big villain in the Tamil and Telugu film industries.   Later he came back to Kannada films to work as a hero and a villain in many films.   Now, the actor is turning as a director.

Few days back Charan Raj had told some of his journalist friends in Bengaluru that  he would become a director and will be wielding the megaphone for  a movie based on a real love story. Now , the latest update is the film has been titled as ‘Yadartha Prema Katha’.  The film  was launched on 6th June at Sivarla in Hyderabad. Well-Known actor Gopichand clapped the first shot of the film. Charan Raj is producing as well as directing this film under C R Creations banner.

The film is said to be based on a song ‘Anitha O Anitha’ which already become famous among the moviebuffs and it was written by Nagaraju. It is learnt that the film will complete its shooting in a single schedule.

Speaking to media Charan Raj said that the movie would be based on real love story.He also said that the film will have some commercial elements, though essentially he wants to make a film with a realistic touch. Kannada actress Roopika who was seen recently in the film Kalgejje is being introduced as a heroine in the Telugu film industry through this film.

Debutants Amar and Roopika  are the lead pair of the film. Supporting cast includes Nalini, Chinna and others while dialogues by M V S Harnatha Rao and Cinematography by Vamshi
