Kichcha Sudeep has become the first person from Sandalwood to have 10 lakh followers on the micro-blogging site Twitter. Sudeep will cross the million mark a little while from now. The actor has been active on Twitter for years now and frequently interacts with his fans and has nearly 10,000 tweets on his timeline mostly messages to his fans and details of his films. He has also been supporting films of other actors on Twitter. Sudeep was one of the earliest Kannada actors to take to Twitter and this it is one of the reasons why he maintains a bigger following than others on the site.

Business persons from Karnataka like Nandan Nilekani, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw and Mohandas Pai have a bigger following than Kannada stars.
