Namitha I Love you is not a dubbed film, says its director Jayasimha Reddy. "I am really pained to hear people who has been in the Kannada film industry for a long time expressing doubts as to whether Namitha I Love you featuring the South Indian glamour Diva Namitha is an original film or a morphed dubbed film. I want to clear all such doubts to reiterate that Namitha I Love you is an original film. We have shot for the film in Bengaluru and we have used a majority of Kannada artists and technicians for this film. Let anyone prove that this is a dubbed film and I am prepared to accept any sort of punishment' declared Jayasimha Reddy.

Reddy said that though his film has featured Namitha in her first action oriented role, the usual masala elements associated with an entertainer will be part of the film.
