Director S Narayan is all set to direct a biopic on former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy. The film has been titled as 'Bhumiputra' and Arjun Sarja will be seen in the role of Kumaraswamy in the film.

S Narayan intends to showcase the 20 month achievement of H D Kumaraswamy as a Chief Minister. Narayan says he has collected a lot of information about the tenure of H D Kumaraswamy and has written the story and screenplay of the film.

'Bhumiputra' is all set to be launched on the 08th of May at National College Grounds in Bangalore. Former Prime Minister H D Devegowda, H D Kumaraswamy and others will be present at the occasion. The film is not only a big budget one, but also has a big star cast. P K H Das is the cameraman.
