Komal starrer 'Kempegowda 2' was launched in Bangalore at the Marriott Hotel. 'Kempegowda 2' is being produced by Shankar Gowda and Shankar Reddy and the duo have formed a new company called S Company and is producing the film under this banner. Former Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, Rajya Sabha member K C Ramamurthy, MLA Bhairathi Suresh and others were present at the occasion.

Komal plays the role of a cop in this film and the film is being directed by Roshan Mohan.
