The songs of 'Nuggekayi' composed by debutante music director Suresh was released at the Chamundeshwari Studio in Bangalore.

'Nuggekayi' marks the debut of Madhusudhan to Kannada cinema. Madhusudhan works for the Karnataka State Cricket Association and has made his debut as a hero in this film. Apart from Madhusudhan and Esther, Suchendra Prasad, Christina Joy, Dattanna, Bank Janardhan, Biradar, Jennifer Antony and others play prominent roles in the film.

A Venugopal who earlier directed 'Tale Bachkolli Powder Hachkolli' is directing the film apart from scripting it. Preeth Hegde is the producer and story writer. The shooting of the film has been completed and the makers plans to release the film sometime in April.
