Despite being a victim of a seething pain caused by an accident that occurred on Sunday afternoon during the shooting of Bheema Theeradhalli, Action hero Vijay resumed the shooting with in two hours . The same night he left to Bengaluru to be part of the shooting of his forthcoming release Jarasandha directed by Shashank and produced by Naveen Manu Gangadhar and Basavaraju.
Vijay was injured during the shooting of an action sequence of the film Bheema Theeradhalli in an outdoor spot at Bagalkot town in Northern Karnataka region. The film is being produced by Anaji Nagaraj and directed by Om Prakash Rao.
According to eye witness accounts, the film's hero Vijay who is playing Chandappa Harijana's role in the film was participating in an action sequence being shot by its producer and cinematographer Anaji Nagaraj. During an action movement, Vijay jumped and his left foot jammed at the edge of a big stone. Vijay was seething with pain with this accident and was not able to walk. Later he was taken to Hospital where doctors performed small surgery with four stitches.
Though Anaji Nagaraj advised Vijay to take rest and go back to Bengaluru, the actor refused to heed and participated in the remaining part of the shooting to conclude the portions of the action sequences.
Vijay left to Bengaluru on Sunday night to reach Bengaluru on Monday morning. On the same day he was ready to participate in the chasing sequence shoot of his forthcoming release Jarasandha directed by Shashank.
