Kotigobba 2 is A Straight Film Says Sudeep

Actor Sudeep who is looking forward to the release of his new film 'Kotigobba 2' this Friday says that the film is not a remake, but a straight film.

'The story of the film is written by Shivakumar and director K S Ravikumar and his team has worked for more than one year for the screenplay of the film. Based on that, we have made the film and the film is a straight film made in two languages simultaneously' said Sudeep.

Asked about why the audio of the film was launched in Chennai and not in Karnataka, 'Many in Tamil Nadu thought that 'Mudinja Ivana Pudi' is the dubbed version of 'Kotigobba 2', which was not the case. The film is a bilingual shot simultaneously in Kannada and Tamil. The people there must know that the film has been shot simultaneously and not a dubbed one, So, we organised an audio relese there. In fact everyone came to know that the film is not a dubbed one, but a straight one only after the audio release and the business picked up only after the audio release. Releasing the audio in Chennai is fruitfut' said Sudeep.
