Writer-director Preetham Gubbi has silently wrapped his new film Naanu Mattu Varalakshmi and is looking forward for the release of the film in August. Meanwhile, Preetham is planning to release the songs on the 24th of July.

Prithvi is making his debut as a hero in this film. Prithvi is the grand son of late music director G K Venkatesh. Prithvi is an engineering graduate and is trained in acting, stunts and dancing. Prithvi plays a bike racer in this film. Malavika Mohnan is the heroine.
