There is a houseful board seen in Sandesh Nagaraj's Bengaluru Hotel Sandalwood Sandesh Hotel now even before his forthcoming film Prince is hitting screens on March 31 all around the state. All the distribution areas of the film have been sold out bringing out a big smile in the face of producer Sandesh Nagaraj who had two big losses in films like Vijay's Veerabahu and Indrajith Lankesh directed Huduga Hudugi.

Since the pattern in the Kannada film industry has been a big opening for all super star films in the past six months, Prince has been lapped up for big offering from the distributors. The trend which started from Puneet Raj Kumar's Jackie continued with Sudeep's Veera Madakari and continued to flourish in Upendra's Super and Shivarajkumar Mylari. Recently Sudeep's Kempe Gowda has also joined the list. Though Darshan's two previous films Shourya and Boss did not satisfy the distributors or producers of these films despite getting good initials, Prince has now become a hot property because of the coming Holiday season and conclusion of world cup matches.

The Mysore, Mandya, Kodagu, Chamarajanagar and Hassan distribution area has been sold to an amount close to Rs. 1 crore and even the Northern Karnataka area has fetch an amount close to Rs. 90 lacs.

All the other distribution areas have fetched big prices for producer Sandesh Nagaraj who has already made profit out of this film as satellite rights have already fetched an amount of Rs1.80 lacs.

Totally the realisation amount is Rs. 6 crores now which has fully brought back the investment with little profits. Once the film gets over flow from distributors, Sandesh is expected to make even a large dose of profits from the film. His two previous films Vijay's Veera Bahu and Indrajith Lankesh's Huduga Hudugi were box office duds.
