Suri directed Kemdasampige has bagged 10 nominations in the South Indian International Movie Awards, the highest for any Kannada film. The awards function is scheduled for June 30 and July 1 in Singapore. Films from south Indian languages participate in this film awards.

Apart from Kendasampige other films which have bagged high number of nominations are Baahubali and Srimanthudu in Telugu, Oh Kanmani in Tamil and Premam in Malayalam
