The Karnataka Film Producers Association has given a 48 hour deadline to cine artiste Ramya to give her explanation regarding her absence in the recently held 'Dandam Dashagunam ' audio release at hotel Atria.
Ramya who has played a female lead in 'Dandam Dashagunam' was absent to the audio release function. Ramya had cited that, she could not make it to the audio release function as she was busy shopping furniture for her new house. Producer Ganesh who was very much upset with Ramya's absence had brought this to the notice of Chamber president Basanth Kumar Patil. Even Patil's attempts to bring Ramya to the function went in vein. Ganesh who is also holding key posts in producer association as well as Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce later filed a complaint against Ramya in the producer association.
The producer association held a meeting in Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce which was well attended by the producers fraternity. The meeting went on for more than an hour and decision has been taken to give a two day deadline to Ramya for giving an explanation about her absence at the audio release. If Ramya doesn't react within the two day deadline, then the producers association will be holding an another meeting to take strict action against Ramya.
