After her tweets which has already created a big sensation in the industry, actress Ramya, the most controversial heroine of our times wept at a press conference organised to promote her next release Sanju Weds Geetha directed by Nagashekhar. Ramya is presenting this film and is also believed to have helped the process of completion of the film. Infact the film's producer Pramod made a special mention of Ramya's guesture just when the press conference was about to conclude.

With a choked voice Ramya told the media that she has been singled out and targeted because she was a female. Though her gender bogey did not cut much ice with the media which was targeted as irresponsible by her in speech. Later she told that she did not answer any of the calls or the SMS messages sent by the media as advised by Ambareesh who had promised to resolve the issue.

Ramya started talking about this issue even though she was not asked anything by the press. Earlier the film's director Nagashekhar had made a request to the press that since there was a big controversy surrounding the actress, he wanted all the questions to be related to the film only. The media persons however protested against this statement made by Nagashekhar after the press conference was concluded.

'Producer Munirathna told me that I am the only heroine in the Kannada film industry who has helped the producers when he had accompanied Ganesh to invite me to the audio release function.

But even then I am being called as Kannada Dhrohi. I could not take all these humiliations and then decided to quit. I am not answerable to any one and not even the media, but I am certainly answerable to my large fans. That is why I took the twitter route to record my emotions' said Ramya.
