Veteran actress Leelavathi has been admitted to M S Ramaiah hospital due to health reasons. On Tuesday Leelavathi slipped and fell in her residence. She had taken a pain relief tablet,  yet the pain has increased considerably by Wednesday. She was rushed to M S Ramaiah Hospital and was given treatment.

Leelavathi is slowly recuperating and will be discharged soon.
