Producer Jayanna of Jayanna combines has launched two films on the festival day of Sankranthi. Both the films were launched at the Gangapathi Temple in Basaveshwaranagar.

While the first film is Shivarajakumar starrer 'Bangaru - Son of Bangarada Manushya', the second film is an untitled film starring Ravichandran's son Manjoranjan in lead role. Ravichandran and Yash came over as chief guest and while Ravichandran sounded the clap for the first shot of Shivarajakumar's film, Yash sounded the clap for Manoranjan's film.
