The legal issues regarding the release of Vijay Raghavendra starrer 'Shivayogi Puttayyajja' has finally been resolved with court giving signal for the release of the film. With the clearance, the team of 'Shivayogi Puttyyajja' will be released during the festival season of Sankranthi.

Well known actor Udaykumar's grand daughter Hamsavijetha had directed the film based on the legendary musician. However, producer Maruthi Jediyavar had brought a stay on the release of the film saying that he had the rights to do a film on Putraja Gavayi. But the court has given a clean chit to the team to go ahead with the release.

The film stars Vijay Raghavendra, Shruthi, Anu Prabhakar and others in prominent roles and Maruthi Mirajkar has composed the music for the film, while Satish Belavangala is the cameraman.
