The Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy is accepting entries for Kannada films for the eight edition of the Bengaluru International Film Festival at its office in Badami House. The entries will be accepted till November 30.

Kannada films that have got a Censor certificate after September 2014 are eligible for entry to the Kannada Cinema category and competition in the festival. The festival is scheduled from January 28 to February 4, 2016.

There are 11 categories in the festival this time. The festival will be held in both Bengaluru and Mysuru this time, the first time it is also being held outside Bengaluru.
