The most ambitious film of Real Star Upendra, Uppi2 has got UA certificate from the Censor board. The board members watched the film today. The film has a length of 136 minutes.

The film is scheduled for a release on August 14.

It is a sequel to Upendra's 1999 film named after himself as Upendra. Uppi returns to direction after five years since Super.

It is also the home production of Upendra with his wife Priyanka being the official producer.
