Super Star Upendra has never felt that September 18 is his birthday.  He wants to devote his entire time to the fans who have been so eagerly awaiting and ardently desiring to celebrate his birthday.  On that day he wants to remain in his house till the afternoon, after which he wants to spend his time with his family members in Ruppi Resorts near Ramohalli.

"It is not birthday,  I think it is a celbration time for my fans.   I would like to be with my fans as they have been extending  encouraging support to me.  I want to make them as happy as possible, at least for a day.   Spending time with them will give me a feeling that  It is because of their love and affection that I have come to this stage' says  Upendra.

Upendra had to cut his birthday cake at the stroke of midnight  and told the television  channels  that but  for these fans the birthday would have no meaning for him.
