A day prior to Movie icon Late Dr. Vishnuvardhan's birthday celebrations, hundreds of fans of the actor had gathered in Abhiman Studios near the Samadhi to start a Dharna programme demanding the installation of  his statue in the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerece.

The fans  who have now got ready a gold coloured idol of the actor wants it to be installed in the KFCC considering his services to the film industry and his many actions in service of the society.   But the fans say that the KFCC President and other office members were evasive and have not been giving any assurance about it. Meanwhile the fans of the actor are geared up for a big celebration on Sunday, the birth day of the actor.
