Thousands of  Dr. Vishnuvardhan fans all around the state had gathered in front of  the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce building for demanding installation of  Dr. Vishnuvardhan's statue inside the premises as has been assured by the then KFCC  President H.D.Gangaraju.   The Rs. 1.60 crore  statue has been cavred  with the money collected from the Vishnu fans in Bengaluru.  Infact Vishnu fans in Bengaluru had organised lunch for  around one lac fans today in Abhiman studios near Daada's Samadhi.

Vishnu fans who had assembled in  Abhiman Studios  to have a Darshan of  their favourite departed star's Samadhi  decided to go to the film chamber and install the statue.   Despite the advise from some elders the agitated fans decided to move a step forward to pressurise the film chamber for fecilitating the installation of the statue. Later Vishnu fans were given an assurance that the film chamber will be discussing the matter on September 24 to decided on the issue.
