Actress Ramya aka Divya Spandana has won the first battle in the political election arena winning her Congress Party's internal elections in the Booth 3 of the Shanthinagar constituency.   The election was held on Monday morning and Ramya herself casted her vote.  After the results of the local elections which announced Ramya as the winner (she obtained 8 votes out of the 14 casted)  She got a congratulatory message from  Harris, the local Congress MLA of Shanthinagar.

The win has enabled her to be a party candidate for the youth congress party's top post for which elections are to be held next month.
